A University of Illinois graduate in Agricultural Economics, Joe has a strong background in commodity marketing and analysis. He received his Management Information Systems Certificate from the University of Minnesota in 1989. Prior to joining ATI, Joe worked for Cargill from 1984 to 2001, holding multiple positions in market analysis and management. He came to ATI in 2001 as the Director of Research and performed fundamental supply and demand market analysis for the grain, oilseed complex and biofuel markets.
In 2008, Joe started a new commercial desk to serve the biofuel industry. Providing voice brokerage on Chi Platts ethanol futures helps plants manage their board crush, and he is willing to dive deeper with ag and biofuel customers on consulting projects.
An active member of the community, Joe is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association and Experimental Aircraft Association.
