Curt Strubhar is a Commercial Merchandising Consultant and Chairman of ATI. Curt was raised on a Central Illinois grain farm that remains family owned and operated. He joined ATI in 1995 after graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Agricultural Economics.  Curt serves as a commercial risk management consultant with clients that include grain warehouses and grain end users. His client base ranges geographically from ATI’s headquarters in the Central Corn Belt through the Hard Red Winter Wheat Belt and Western Corn Belt. Curt’s tenure with ATI has included travel to Brazil, South Africa, and Ukraine to help identify opportunities in those regions. Curt currently sits on the board of directors of the National Grain and Feed Association and is also a member of NGFA’s Risk Management Committee.  He is a member of the CFTC’s Ag Advisory Committee, as well as the Open Interest Sub-Committee.  Curt is a past Alliance Board Member of the Grain and Feed Association of Illinois as well a current long-time member of the Workforce Development Committee of the GFAI. Curt and his wife Susan reside in Bloomington, Illinois and have two adult children.
