Ben grew up on a small farm in an agricultural community located in southern Minnesota. His father was a vocational agriculture teacher who greatly influenced Ben and his four brothers to become involved in agriculture. Ben graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelor of Science. While at the University, he spent a year in New Zealand working with their Ministry of Agriculture on various research projects.
He joined Advance Trading in 1990, working with producers in North Central Iowa, helping educate and execute risk management plans for crops and livestock operations. Ben then moved to the Advance Trading corporate office in Bloomington, Illinois to focus on grain merchandising consulting within the country elevator industry. He continues to focus on country elevator merchandising consulting and producer/end-user price risk management. Ben continues to be a key figure in the growth of Advance Trading through his service on the Board of Directors and his instrumental activity in opening branches of Advance Trading across the Corn Belt. Ben is married and has two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys attending his daughters' school, sporting and music endeavors. He also enjoys working on a small prairie restoration property, allowing him to get outdoors where he enjoys hunting, fishing, working his hunting dog and photography.
Dewey Hull - Broker

Dewey grew up on a grain and livestock farm in southern Wisconsin. He received his Bachelor of Science in Meat and Animal Science from University of Wisconsin, Madison and Master's degree in Ag Industries from University of Wisconsin, Platteville. Prior to joining ATI in 1999, he spent 10 years in the grain industry, beginning in origination and progressing to merchandising and management. Such experience included truck, rail and barge locations. Dewey currently covers Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota territories working with elevators and end-users. He is married with three children, is an avid sports fan and roots on both his alma mater and home state teams. Dewey enjoys outside activities with family and friends, but especially enjoys watching his kids grow up.
Jodi Welch - Broker Assistant

Prior to joining ATI in February 2009 as a Broker Assistant, Jodi was employed in the healthcare field as a licensed respiratory therapist. While attending Parkland College and Eastern Illinois University, she worked as a licensed EMT for the local ambulance service. In her free time, Jodi enjoys traveling, cooking, shopping, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Rebecca Schrof - Broker Assistant

Prior to joining ATI as a Broker Assistant, Rebecca was employed as an outside sales representative. Her background includes 15 years’ experience in customer service, marketing, and business development. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Southern Illinois University. She lives in Bloomington with her husband, daughter, and 2 sons. Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and volunteering in the community..
