Advance Trading incorporated in 1980 as a brainchild of six individuals with experience in the grain industry as elevator managers and merchandising consultants. Advance was formed to fulfill a need as an independent source of information for North American grain elevators, providing worldwide perspectives in the market. In order to deliver unbiased, sound marketing advice and remain committed to all its customers, Advance Trading chose to be a nonproprietary firm.
Today, Advance Trading, Inc. works with over 2,200 customers (from livestock and grain producers to end-users and commercial elevators) in the North America grain belt and continues to expand our international ties. Commercial country elevator merchandising continues to be our core business. Advance also has specialized brokerage/consultants that focus on price risk management and market guidance for end-users including grain and feed mills, ethanol producers, soybean processors, feed lots and egg & hog producers.
